Cold, Hard Bitcoin Yield is here
Dozens of BTC yield products have been launched over the past years.
But most of them face the same problem: The yield they provide comes in the form of points or inflationary token emissions that are not sustainable.
Botanix has introduced stBTC, a new yield-bearing Bitcoin standard that unlocks native Bitcoin yield backed by real economic activity.
With stBTC, all the yield you get is distributed directly via Bitcoin gas fees.
On top of that, you can use it in DeFi at the same time.
Here’s what you can already do with stBTC:
Trade on GMX – Use stBTC as collateral to go long or short on BTC
Borrow & Lend on Dolomite – Borrow stablecoins against stBTC and benefit from negative net borrowing rates thanks to stBTC’s base yield
Liquidity Provision – Deploy stBTC in pools on native DEXs like Bitzy and Arch for higher returns
Botanix is positioning itself to become the home of Bitcoin Finance.
As transaction volume matures, stBTC yield is expected to stabilize at 6-8% APR, which is one of the highest yields for BTC in DeFi.
Put your BTC to work with Botanix!
🛠️Tool spotlight: Strategic ETH Reserve dashboard
The primary reason why ETH has been a top performer in Q3 is the massive buying pressure for it caused by the new ETH treasury companies.
An interesting tool I found to monitor their activity is strategicethreserve.xyz.
Using it, I can see things such as:
The mNAV (Market Net Asset Value) of all major ETH treasury companies
The amount of ETH bought by treasury companies and ETFs over time
How much ETH have treasury companies bought recently
The recent performance of ETH ETFs
And many other interesting stats. I find it pretty useful to monitor what institutional investors are doing and whether they are running out of capital.
You can check out the Strategic ETH Reserve dashboard here.
